An exciting time...

Hi everyone, how are things?
my bad conscience in terms of replying to emails is constantly growing so I decided to update at least my blog for the time being
I am pretty busy at the moment which
left little time to relax during the break.
However, we went for a short weekend trip to Mt.
Ruhapehu with a couple of friends and it had been
an awesome time! I actually managed to get some
sort of snowboarding sorted - yet there is a long
way to go - literally. Speaking of long way - I
think I am gonna run this years Auckland Marathon.
Maybe if I publish it here, I will manage to do
some training since I am miles off being able to
complete it right now
The second part of the break was equally exciting since my team made in the finals of the MCC/Deloitte Case Competition! It was a great experience and I'd like to thank Ali, Alisdair and Matt for the great work! Next time we'll gonna make it
Furthermore, I also got a pretty
exciting job offer as a market analyst for an
market intelligence company here in Auckland and I
am very tempted to except it! Looks like I am
gonna stay one more year
How are things back home or wherever you are? I have told many people how weird the New Zealand advertising scene is. 80% of ads are plain horrible to the extend that you can hardly bear it. However, the remaining 20% are a crack up and I like to share the following one with you:
I hope you have a great time and talk to you soon...
Cheers

New Zealand
Hey everyone!
how are you guys doing? I hope you're having a full on summer!? I am back in New Zealand for about a month now and I am really enjoying it so far! It's great to be back and catch up with all my friends over here! Especially being back in my flat is awesome! I am back in Uni life with all its assignments etc, and lovin' it
How are my lucky friends in
Argentina doing? And how is it going for all of
you who moved on / back? I haven't really
continued with my Spanish over here except for the
fact that I finally watched DEUDA with the
hispanic club today
Pretty good! Beda, you were right -
little more balanced in the issue. Things are
going pretty well over here and I hope you guys
are having a great time - where ever you are
Looking forward to hear from you and keep your facebook profiles uptodate!
Cheers

Argentina
I can't really believe it but my time in Argentina is
already over. Since I am writing this post from
Santiago de Chile, it feels actually quite real though.
I have to say that my expectations regarding Argentina
were already quite high since everyone who had been
there was raving about it and the Argentineans I know
anyway (Nati
). Yet, Buenos Aires and the great
people continued to amaze me over and over again.
And of course, the motto of my website "A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles" has been proven once more! I met fabulous people over the time and am lucky to count them among my friends! While I am still a long a way from being fluent in Spanish, I get along quite well and my overweight in luggage is basically due to some Spanish books I intend to read - my overweight is more due to the mindblowing argentinean meat (thank you happy cows!)
At least I got new trainers so I can leave them between Parnell and Mission Bay in Auckland
While I would love to stay here
still a bit longer, I have to say that I can't
wait to be back in New Zealand as well - what has
been intended as a four month abroad semester has
already a year and I am really looking forward to
catch up with you guys back in NZ! I will move
back in with Tony and James in my old flat which
is just perfect!
On the other hand, I can't wait to get back to university as well since I am taking actually got all my favorite papers! It will be exciting times ahead and who knows what gonna happen in 4 month...
I hope you guys are enjoying your summer back in the Northern Hemisphere - It's getting quite freezing down here! I hope you are all doing well and I look forward to hear from you....
Cheers
